Use a dedicated Droplet
The standard installer works on a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 x86-64 Droplet in DigitalOcean. Follow the server installation guide for hardware requirements and the installation command.
DigitalOcean Kubernetes
Cloud provisioning creates the cluster from a protected cloud.json configuration. The DigitalOcean settings are
in docs/digitalocean-kubernetes-installation.md in the
verified release.
The provisioner’s default NFS storage does not meet the current release’s storage requirements. An administrator must confirm that the chosen storage meets those requirements before proceeding.
